Awesome fishtail braid!

So today I'm going to do a step-by-step of how to do a French braid. I've included photos of me doing my American girl doll's hair to help understand. 

1. Brush hair being done to. Make sure there are no knots, like so:

2. Separate the hair into 2 sections, approximately  equivalent. 

3. Starting with the right side, take one peice and bring over into the other side. 

4. Repeat step 3 with the left side, bringing it into the right. 

5. Reappear steps 3 and 4, pulling tight as you go, until you can't do it anymore. 

6. As shown above, tie off the braid.
